Rules & Regulations

Below is a brief overview of some of the most important neighborhood rules and regulations:

Garbage-
  • Garbage cans should not be stored on front porch or in front of buildings.
  • Garbage and recycling are picked up on Tuesday mornings.
  • All garbage pickup is arranged and set up through North Liberty City Hall 319-626-5700

Parking-
  • There is no parking in the street on Cambria or Churchill. The streets are not a standard width, and it is difficult to see children, so this is a safety hazard. Absolutely no parking in the grass at any time.  Violater to this rule will incurr towing.
  • If visitor spots are not available, street parking is available on one side of Lincoln Drive.
  • Visitor Parking pads are for visitor parking only. There are very few spots for visitors, so it is important that all homeowners/tenants park in their garage or driveway.
  • There is no parking for boats, trailers, and RV’s anywhere on the property.

Pets-
  • All pets must be on a leash when outside.
  • All pets must be registered with the city of North Liberty.
  • Owners must clean up their pet messes. Accumulation of dog waste in yards is not permissible.

Fire Pits-
  • Fire Pits are not allowed anywhere under any circumstances. This is a safety hazard and a liability for insurance purposes.

Grills-
  • Grills are allowed for use on patios and driveways. Grills should not be stored on front porches or driveways.
  • Grills are not allowed on front porch (the heat can melt siding and activate sprinklers).

Snow-
  • Snow and ice will be cleared for streets, sidewalks, and driveway.
  • Park vehicles in the garage so driveways can be cleared of snow.

HOA Expectations-
  • It is the responsibility of the tenant to keep their immediate area clear of debris and garbage. Front porches are not for storage overflow. If you don’t have enough space in your home rent a storage unit to store items. We all must do our part to make the community look nice and inviting.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors (be aware of how much noise you or your dogs are making, be respectful of other’s space, park in your own driveway not your neighbors or in reserved parking spots, treat your neighbors like you want to be treated).
  • Failure to follow the rules will initially result in a warning via email from the HOA. After the first warning the Board of Directors may, at their discretion, impose a progressive fine structure starting at $25 up to $500 for each subsequent rule violation.
